How To Get Printed Books Form USM Library
Hey, friends Today we are going to learn how to search for the online book in USM Library We will check out the working Hour Of the Library.- Ok so goto USM official website "http://www.lib.usm.my/" and then scroll down until u find KRISALIS.
- then you can click on the discovery and simply key your keyword.
- For example, I am looking for communication so I type communication.
- Then I click search once I get my result then combine all together with any ideal information and various type of material.
- So you need to do first you need to refine your results until you get the most relevant one.
- So then you need to go for Limit to option in the left sidebar.
- And Untick available in the library collection.
- Ok so next left sidebar to go to Limit to section and tick at Krystal OPAC.
- And the website will update results for you.
- After that left sidebar and go for Source Type there are various types of material available in the library besides effect.
- So if you are looking for books then Tick on Books again website will update for you.
- Then you will see the books related communication now you can scroll down and brush the title one by one to find out the most relevant one to your self.
- So click on the specific book are relevant to you and click on Search OPAC.
- Once you get this there going to provide you with detailed information of the book including the Author's name.
- and the most important if you scroll down a bit you're going to see the current location of the book and call number as well as the Book availability status.
- If the status is available you can call on the number and borrow for yourself.
USM Library Database
USM Library Database searching is a basic skill you need in order to find
- Journal Articles
- Reports
- Book chapters
- Start with going to the homepage/website of the USM Library.
- If you are Off-campus, please page down to the MYUSM portal located on many USM pages.
- Click on the MYUSM portal.
- Once you are on the USM portal page, navigate the top of the page until reach the Libraries and Technology link.
- Click on Libraries & Technology.
- Clicking on this link will change the page below. Look for the USM Libraries link and click on it.
- This will connect you to the USM Library server regardless of where you are actually.
- Once you have access to the server, you will able to use the USM Libraries Database.
- Then use your key in the search bar and click on search.
- You will see either the Title, Abstract, Description, or some other part of the article record.
- Notice the following record, and where the keywords you searched appear.
And now you can see what you actually want, so guys this is the correct method to find your results in USM Database.
